Sleeping Villager Like any sorcerer worth his salt, these wizards are maniacally forward-thinking & menacingly heavy. A healthy injection of sludge swagger allows for some exploratory breathing room in the death-doom space. Given a proven dedication to forward motion, I’m beyond excited to see where the Union takes us next. Highly recommended! Favorite track: Swords Out For Crom.

Gwynncore A riff-heavy Stoner Metal beast. It also sounds like there is some 90's Death Metal influence as well. Overall an amazing release. Give Me That Amulet You Witch! shows some signs of Experimental-ness as well and it would be cool to see that expanded on in the future. Favorite track: Spitting Venom.

godmachine13 This entire record burns. from riff to riff, from track to track. Every song is filled with death illuminated, sludge drenched DOOM. Every stroke of the pick is a tooth in this chainsaw of an album, ripping your eardrums to shreds. Favorite track: Swords Out For Crom.

This album is an absolute banger. The riffs are especially groovy this time, the vocals are amazing, and the overall thing is supercatchy. If I'd have to list one downside, it's that the mix is so bass-heavy that the sound only truely comes into it's right when listened on good headphones or extremely good speakers. On anything less it can sound like the bass drowns the rest of the music out. 9/10 Buzzario
